Why you should invest

Patek Philippe is raising the bar for their personal sky and moon watches with this watch. There's no other watchmaker that can touch this new level of innovation. From what we know, it's set to be released in 2022 with a retail price of around USD 1 million. If you're looking for the best piece of art to invest your money into, it would be hard to find anything better than this latest release from one of today's most beloved Swiss luxury brands. It's guaranteed to become one of the world's most sought-after pieces.

For example, when the previous collection was first announced in 2017, over 500 people queued up overnight at Place Vendôme in Paris to get their hands on one. Not only will they need good timing if they want to own this timepiece before it becomes too expensive, but also a sizeable disposable income. Whether or not you have either, investing now will ensure you can buy this watch before anyone else and keep yourself on top of all the luxury news going forward.

What makes it special

There are a few things that make this timepiece special. First off, it will have an annual calendar and what they call Phase of the Moon discs that rotate to show different phases. These phases change daily due to the distance between Earth and the moon. It also has starry night constellations that can be shown in a three-dimensional form on the back dial (when the rotational axis is parallel to the ground). Of course, there's also a perpetual satellite bourbon which explains why they call it Sky. It has an anti-reflective sapphire crystal with a blue top and underside. The bracelet is made from platinum or rose gold. The movement developed by Patek Philippe themselves is their caliber 240 PS Q1R; mechanical self-winding.

There are a lot of cool features about this watch that makes it worth getting. For one thing, you're not going to get any glare with the anti-reflective sapphire crystal with a blue top and underside. That way, you'll always know exactly what time it is even if you're looking at your watch at an angle or outdoors during the day when there's sun all around you - because who doesn't love seeing those beautiful stars?

How much it costs

Each watch will be limited to only nine pieces, making this release even more exclusive. The cheapest option will cost around USD$750,000, and each clock is made from ultra-light titanium. It is also worth noting that there are not many women’s versions of the Sky Moon Tourbillon, so those looking for something more feminine might have to wait until further releases come out.

Good news for those who want their hands on one? Unlike other tourbillons, there is an automatic version coming soon. And while they’re less rare than the manual ones, they still won’t be cheap: Each watch will be approximately USD$350,000 at retail price. For reference, it took me three years to save up enough money for my first investment piece (a classic perpetual calendar), and I think I will need much longer to afford the best edition. Still, I am very excited about it because with its platinum case, sleek white dial, and gold hands against dark blue moon phase display on its face,

The cool Patek Philippe Sky Moon Tourbillon makes a statement without being too flashy or showy. The good Patek Philippe Sky Moon Tourbillon is perfect for someone like me who wants quality without paying too much upfront or worrying about repairs or maintenance fees. Still, best of all, you can use your interest payments as an excuse to buy another pretty thing because you bought smart!

Should you wait?

There are specific limited editions that you'll want to wait for instead of purchasing immediately. With watches, this is because demand may outstrip supply. For example, with some releases only available for online pre-orders, you may find your size sold out and have to wait until later. Furthermore, limited edition watches are often produced in smaller quantities than regular releases (e.g., 200 or 400 units). Add this to fervent demand from collectors and enthusiasts alike, and it's unlikely that you'll be able to find your size anytime soon after release day—particularly when prices skyrocket on eBay!

Lastly, you may come across a discounted model if it's not your dream watch but is within your price range. Some people who can't afford their dream piece just yet buy a more affordable version they enjoy wearing while saving up. We all know how time flies, and before we know it, there will be a tremendous new Patek Philippe Sky Moon Tourbillon release. So what should you do? If you're interested in buying the best Patek Philippe Sky Moon Tourbillon now and don't mind paying the total price, go ahead! Just keep an eye out for special deals so you can get the best deal possible.
